To mark its 75th anniversary, SAATBAU Linz wanted to do more than just look back – they wanted to capture their history, values and visions in a modern image brochure. A planned project turned into two targeted brochures that represent both the tradition and the future of the company.
show moreSAATBAU Linz, founded in 1950, is the largest cooperative organization for plant breeding and seed propagation in Austria. With over 3,000 farmer owners and a portfolio of more than 1,000 varieties from 160 crops, the company operates internationally in 35 countries. The decision to produce two separate brochures for the seed and crop sectors underlines the company’s claim to specifically address the needs of different target groups and consolidate its position as an innovative market leader.
hide detailsAccording to a study by Gartner, personalized marketing measures are 80% more effective. With this in mind, SAATBAU Linz decided not to bundle its anniversary message in a single brochure, but to develop two separate publications. An identical basic section conveys the overarching values and history of the company, while each of the two differing sections – seeds and crops – are presented in detail in separate brochures. This structure makes it possible to respond specifically to the information needs of the different target groups while maintaining a consistent brand image.
In order to tailor the content of the brochures precisely to the respective target groups, separate workshops were held with the specialist departments of SAATBAU Linz. This collaborative approach made it possible to gain in-depth insights into the specific requirements and expectations of the various stakeholders. The result is customized content that is both technically sound and tailored to the target group.
Although the corporate design of SAATBAU Linz served as the basis, we gently pushed its boundaries for creative adaptations. The selection of suitable fonts and a minimalistic layout resulted in a modern, image-rich appearance. Interactive elements such as QR codes link the print brochures with digital content, allowing up-to-date information to be added flexibly.
